Our Approach

What meaningful research means to us

Three principles shape every article we choose to pursue and publish.

01Output With Purpose

Beneficial for our species

We hope that every research article we publish has potential to contribute to the betterment of humanity, by adding to or refining our collective knowledge.

02Unconfined Scope

Cross-Sector

We aim to publish research articles across all sectors critical for humanity's future and prosperity, not just a single sector. One sector alone can only contribute so much.

03Built To Be Understood

Maximizing clarity

Research articles we publish, even when technical, consider the general public's understanding when possible. We aim to be clear, accessible, and easy to follow.

CoResearch · Experimental

An AI system that scales, organizes, and improves our research articles

CoResearch is our in-house deep-research system: an agentic program that autonomously conducts deep web research, employing fine-tuned LLMs alongside commercial models such as Claude Opus. We use it to increase our output of research while maintaining, and often enhancing quality and accuracy.

Article Types

Refined — a human-led article sharpened and fact-checked with CoResearch.

Generated — authored end-to-end by CoResearch, then editorially reviewed.

Standard — published without the CoResearch system.

01

Greater Output

CoResearch lets us pursue and publish substantially more research than a purely manual process would allow.

02

Multi-Source Verification

Agentic, exhaustive web research draws from many independent sources, cross-checking claims as it goes.

03

Quality Raised

Output never comes at the cost of accuracy. The system is tuned to meet, and frequently exceed, our manual quality bar.

04

Human-Governed

Every CoResearch article is clearly labeled and held to the same editorial standards as the rest of our work.

Analysis On The Potential Of Aerospike Space Propulsion

Jacob Zymet·Space·Non-Academic

AI Summary

The aerospike engine maintains near-optimal thrust efficiency across all altitudes by using ambient atmospheric pressure as a dynamic outer wall, overcoming the fixed expansion ratio limitation of conventional bell nozzles. Physically sound since Rocketdyne's foundational work in the 1960s, the design was historically blocked by thermal and manufacturing barriers that advances in additive manufacturing, modern CFD, and high-performance copper alloys have now meaningfully reduced. Companies like Pangea Propulsion, LEAP 71, and Polaris Spaceplanes are actively firing hardware today, with single-stage-to-orbit vehicles, reusable upper stages, and spaceplanes as the most promising applications ahead.

Properties and Future Applications of Aluminum Oxynitride Ceramic

Jacob Zymet·Materials·Non-Academic·
CoResearch · Refined

AI Summary

This research article examines aluminum oxynitride (ALON), a transparent structural ceramic that combines optical transparency with exceptional hardness, strength, thermal stability, and durability. The findings show that ALON offers a rare balance of optical performance, ballistic resistance, and manufacturability, making it a promising material for transparent armor, aerospace systems, advanced optics, and future high-performance technologies despite current cost and production limitations.
